Elements of Art
This picture represents color because there's a lot of different colors all in one image.
This image represents space. There's a lot of negative space and it's very open.
I chose this image for shape because there's a lot of rectangular shapes.
This image represents line because there's a lot of vertical and horizontal lines, and many of them go toward the same point.
This picture represents implied texture in the denim jean material.
There's value in this picture because the light makes colors go from light to dark.
This picture has a lot of 3D form in it: the cat house, the chest, the couch, and even the railing.
Principles of Design
There's implied movement in this picture because you can imagine Angie finger-gunning at you.
I chose this picture for unity because the symmetrical balance, similar colors same line direction, etc. make the image cohesive.
There's two different patterns in this image: the bricks and the diamond tiles.
I chose this image for balance because the heart container is pretty symmetrical, and there's two earrings in each side.
This image represents emphasis because the green G stands out well against the dark blue background, and since it's centered in the square, your eye goes to it first.
I chose this image for rhythm because your eye jumps from leaf to leaf. and there's a lot of them pretty close together, so I'd say it's fast rhythm.
I chose this image for contrast because it's a black hat against a white door.
